And great breakdown of the MACD indicator. I use it extensively because there's so much information about price and the state of a trend captured in one simple metric imo!
It's a really interesting insight you got there on the ISM front, with the large spread developing between business activity and employment, indicating that earnings may continue to grow, supporting the bull thesis for the stock market. That's a really neat way of looking at the data.
Whether it's the services or manufacturing PMI's, I find there much better information about the state of the economy in the underlying components versus the headline figures.
In addition to the business activity/employment components of the Services ISM, I closely follow the new orders minus inventories component in the Manufacturing ISM.
